Game Plan

This week was a relatively productive week for my coach and I. We were able to increase my daily calories by quite a bit with very little weight changes, which was really good because it shows us that we can look to get them back up to a much higher level so that we will have a lot of room once we begin dieting.

Also, my results have finally come in for the food sensitivity testing!!! So we have gotten some answers there as well, which it good. It gives us a starting point into looking at foods and spices that I will need to avoid.

The good news was that several of the foods that I have been eating on a daily basis were not considered foods that I should be avoiding. There are quite a few that I do eat either regularly or from time to time that are considered foods that I might want to think about before eating them, so things such as eggs or milk are foods that I don't eat daily but enjoy in a cheat meal so I will have to be quite a bit more diligent when picking foods for my cheat meals...only unfortunate thing was that quinoa was a food I was hoping would show up red and it shows up green 😝(it is one of those foods I eat when we are getting down to the nitty gritty and it's just so bland lol) But I will say I was rather surprised about how bad it shows that corn is for me, so that is definitely something that I will have to keep my eyes on!

On another good note this week, I got to go and train with my coach in person this past Friday evening. It was a really good training session, and despite all the set backs that we have been having he is good with the way that things are look and shaping up! Which, I will admit was a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. I have been very worried because of all the things that have been going wrong so it felt good to hear that we are in a better position then originally thought.

And!!!!! We we able to spend some time to hash out a potential schedule for this season, which for me was the highlight of the week!!!! I have been so worried about how difficult things have been that I wasn't sure how I would be able to get things to work but we worked out a schedule and I cannot wait to get into the thick of things...I thrive off the challenges that come with it.

So this week I go see my doctor to get the paperwork to go and get my blood work looked and to see what my hormone levels will tell us so that by next week we will have the answers that we have been seeking and get the ball rolling...because if it isn't already apparent I am not a patient person πŸ˜‚For now I keep my head high, stay focused on the dream and keep my workouts going strong so when we get all the answers we are ready to go!!!!
